See...That Wasn't So Hard
Yesterday, FTVLive told you about a high-school experiment that went bad at a suburban Richmond high school and there was some sort of an explosion.
Several students went to the hospital.
An explosion at a school, kids are hurt and WTVR Reporters Tyler Layne and Maggi Marshall are posting a smiling selfie outside the school.
We asked, “How freaking tone deaf do you have to be?”
This was the post that Layne made on Facebook:
Kids are hurt at school and here are two local news reporters posting smiling selfies in front of the school.
Now, after FTVLive posted the story, Layne went in and edited the post and the smiling selfie was gone. He made no mention of the edit, but these pictures were put in place of the smiling picture.
It looks much better with pictures like this than the other one.
I think the line “hopefully you were able to catch us….” still sounds a bit tone deaf. Maybe, something more like, “hopefully all the kids involved recover quickly” would have been a bit better.
But, just changing the pictures out make this post so much better than before.
Hopefully, the kids are okay and Mr. Layne learned a lesson in how not to do “All about Me TV”….
Just saying…
