Former WMGM (Atlantic City) Pete Thompson was arrested for alleged “multiple inappropriate relationships with students.”

Thompson was working as a teacher in production at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology in Mays Landing. after leaving TV news, when the station went belly up.

An investigation was launched after a student at the school reported several instances of inappropriate sexual behavior by Thompson. The Special Victims Unit eventually revealed “multiple complaints” from other students, prosecutors said.

Thompson was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal sexual contact and official misconduct. He is no longer employed by the school.

Cops took Thompson into custody in Galloway Township, where he lives. He is being held until his detention hearing.
