Police are investigating a Sunday car accident and Nexstar’s WTNH did not have to go far to cover the story.

Around 4AM on Sunday the car crashed into the WTNH studios in Hartford.

The station reports that the driver ran down a “one way” sign and a pedestrian traffic signal, before the car smashed into WTNH’s building.

After the vehicle crashed into the building the two passengers ran from the scene.

Police are still looking for the suspects.
