The Bobbleheads
The bobblehead is where the talent in the field takes time to shoot video of themselves staring into the camera and nodding their head up and down.
The video is used as a “look live” as the anchor pitches to the story they are covering.
While the bobblehead is used to fool viewers into thinking the Reporter is live when you put a bunch of bobbleheads on the screen at the same time it just looks ridiculous.

Also, they go live to the Weather Anchor and the live picture on his monitor shows it is dark outside. Yet, all the “bobbleheads” shot hours before are in the daylight.
