ViacomCBS is apparently looking to sell the little-watched CW network and they may have found a sucker a potential buyer in Nexstar.

It is reported that Nexstar might be looking to buy The CW as part of its growing portfolio.

The Wall Street Journal says that the CW is not profitable on its own and ViacomCBS is ready to throw in the towel on the network.

Nexstar purchased WGN America as part of the Tribune deal and tried to turn it into a cable news network. So far, it has been nothing but a dud.

Can Nexstar turn The CW into a profitable accusation?
