I don’t know this for sure, but I’m guessing that the Six Flags amusement park does some advertising on WAND (Decatur, IL).

Six Flags has a park in St. Louis and clearly, that puts Decatur in the region of people they want to reach.

WAND Anchor Sophia Espinosa describes herself as a “Disney girl” and she posted a TikTok in which she compared Six Flags to Disney.

Her video made Six Flags look like a dump and the sound she used, referred to the park as a “Ghetto.”

I wonder if Six Flags is now debating about spending their ad dollars on WAND after it was trashed by one of the station’s anchors?
