Word is that KXAN (Austin) News Director Chad Cross is leaving the Nexstar station.

Cross joined the station 10 years ago, coming from KWCH (Wichita), where he also spent 10 years.

There has been no official word on Cross leaving, but sources tell FTVLive that he is taking a job outside of TV news.
