Sources tell FTVLive that WSB Anchor Jorge Estevez was M-I-A for the start of the 11PM newscast last Tuesday.

The newscast opened with Chief Met Glenn Burns at the weather wall and insiders say he “tap danced” until Estevez made it to the set.

According to insiders, Estevez was not back on the air for the rest of the week.

Updated: A source tells FTVLive that Estevez was late to the set, but the reason was, he was called in from vacation after the scheduled Anchor did not show up. Or the person scheduling the anchors screwed up. Estevez was doing his best to fill the open hole.
