Sinclair sources tell FTVLive that a number of stations on the West coast saw their network go down and it left them without the ability to send video from the editing systems. Camera controls and audio systems were also off line.

So, was the company hacked again?

It appears that answer to that is no.

Sources tell FTVLive that Sinclair corporate decided to update and reset the network after they were done with the 11PM newscasts on the East coast.

Apparently, they forgot that Sinclair has stations in other time zones and when they reset the network, those stations were left scrambling.
