Gone in the Twin Cities

Back in 2019, FTVLive told you about the apparent conflict of interest that was happening at WCCO in Minneapolis.

WCCO Anchor/Reporter Liz Collin would interview the local police union president Bob Kroll for the station.

It might not seem like a big deal, except Collin and Kroll are married to one another.

Back when FTVLive reported this story, the station was not even disclosing the fact the two were married.

In June of 2020, FTVLive told you that a group in Minneapolis wanted WCCO Collin to resign or be fired, because of her relationship with Kroll.

Well, it took a while, but those people got their wish.

After 14 years at WCCO, Collin has left the station.

"I want to thank you all for the support you have shown me in my home state of Minnesota," she posted to her social media. "The truth makes me tick," Collin added in her post "I will get back to telling it soon."

The station is not commenting on her departure.
