Well, this should be interesting.

NBC Sports has decided it will not send any of its announcing teams to the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Instead, the crews will be calling the action remotely from NBC's Stamford, CT facility.

The network says it is due to COVID policies in China.

But, you have to wonder if this isn’t the start of seeing more announce crews work remotely, even at the top level?

It has to be tough to reflect the emotion and excitement when you are nowhere close to the action.
