FTVLive told you yesterday in breaking news that WPVI (Philly) legendary Anchor Jim Gardner was about to anchor his last late newscast at the ABC O&O.

WPVI announced that Rick Williams will be taking over the 11PM newscast as Gardner will continue to do the 6PM until he retires later this year.

Gardner has delivered the news to Philly viewers for over 4 decades.

It truly is the end of an era.
