As I write this story, I’m looking at a story in the NY Daily News that says that daily coronavirus cases are four times higher than they were following Labor Day weekend of last year with the number of daily deaths twice as high as they were this time in 2020, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

Clearly, there is a SURGE in COVID cases, but you will not know that if you are watching KUSA (Denver) Anchor Corey Rose.

The Tegna Anchor posted to her social media that if Producers write the words either “surge” or “Super-Spreader” in a script that she is to read, she takes those words out.

Despite there being a surge in Covid cases, Rose isn’t going to say that.
