Back in early August, FTVLive told you how Fox O&O KCPQ in Seattle has been farming out the weather duties, due to the station lacking staff to handle all the newscasts.

Well, here we are in September and it is still going on.

On Friday’s newscast, the weather anchor was in Minnesota.

Station insiders say KCPQ is brutally short-staffed. “In a few weeks we’ll be down to TWO meteorologists, we had five up until June,” said one staffer to FTVLive, adding. “we are on 11 hours each weekday and 5 hours each weekend day so I imagine we’ll continue outsourcing for a while.”
