Hearst is another of the media companies that are requiring all newly hired employees to be vaccinated against COVID, before coming to work.

This line was spotted in a job posting for a Hearst TV station:

As part of its continued efforts to maintain a safe workplace for employees, Hearst Television requires that all newly hired employees be fully vaccinated (as defined by the CDC) against the coronavirus by the first day of employment as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by applicable law. HTV will consider requests for reasonable accommodations due to medical and/or religious reasons on an individual basis in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Again it is sad that vaccine mandates must be issued, but with COVID being as much of a political issue as it is a health issue, we understand why companies are feeling the need to make this move.

We say good for Hearst and other media ownership groups that are trying to keep their employees safe.
