WTHR (Indianapolis) Crime Reporter Steve “Scoop” Jefferson has been at the station for nearly 2 decades.

Now he’s leaving for a new gig at WFAA in Dallas.

In a business full of big egos that only care about themselves and nothing more, Scoop Jefferson was different.

He was a guy that helps younger Journalists and tries to get them pointed in the right direction.
