Carissa Planalp has left Arizona’s Family and is leaving the TV news business altogether.

Planalp has been a Reporter at Meredith’s KPHO/KTVK in Phoenix since 2016 and becomes the latest to leave the news business.

Planalp is headed to the cop shop, where she will be the PIO for the Buckeye (Arizona) Police Department.

She joins an ever-growing list of people that are leaving TV news and looking for jobs outside the business that pays a bit better and have better hours.

The brain drain in TV news continues.
