KSL Investigative Reporter Tania Mashburn took to social media to announce that she is leaving the station and TV news completely this week.

She is off to become a PIO.

This is what she posted to the gram:

“Boy I’ll miss this job…but mostly I’ll miss these people ❤️

I’ve been a reporter and investigative producer at KSL going on 9 years now. At times it’s been invigorating and fun and rewarding. At other times it can be stressful and tiring and emotional. But I’ve loved every minute of my time here.

More than that, I’ve loved my co-workers, many of whom I consider friends and even family. The relationships I’ve built over the past 9 years are something I will always cherish.

Change is hard, but change can be good. This is my last week at KSL. I’m taking a new job as spokesperson (PIO) for the Utah State Courts. I’m excited for a new opportunity, but also a little sad to be leaving a job and a place I love “
