Keeps Going
Mike Randall has been at WKBW (Buffalo) for nearly 4 decades, which makes him the longest-tenured, on-air personality in the station’s history.
He started as a feature Reporter, then moved to Weatherman and is now an MMJ. And, he says he has no plans of calling it quits.
The Buffalo News reports that the 67-year-old Randall contract runs out at the end of the month, and he sys he is in discussions with the station and expects to be at WKBW at least one and perhaps two more years.
Randall says it was never his plan to stay as long as he did. “It was not what I was trying to achieve,” cracked Randall. “They kept paying me and I kept showing up.”
While many at 67 have longed called it quits, Randall wants to keep going.
Good for him!
