Insiders at CBS This Morning say they know how the people at the syndicated show Jeopardy feel.

Word is that CBS This Morning Executive Producer Shawna Thomas appointed herself as the anchor of the WHAT TO WATCH segment last Friday.

It seems that the EP still has a bit of an anchor ego and wants to fulfill that gap according to insiders at the network. They say it felt like when Jeopardy boss Richards named himself as the new game show host, before it all blew up in his face.

As for Thomas naming herself Anchor, sources tell FTVLive that one staffer has filed a complaint with the union representing on-air talent.

“Thomas has isolated herself and has little communication with staff,” said one insider to FTVLive. “ The frustration is ramping up just as the show will relaunch with a new name and set next week, CBS MORNINGS,” the source added.
