Back in June, FTVLive told you that WIVB (Buffalo) Anchor Christy Kern was leaving the Nexstar station.

Kern went missing from WIVB after battling a nasty case of COVID. When she finally recovered she decided to leave the Buffalo station, saying in part, “I’m grateful for my employer, Channel 4, for allowing me the time to recover the last few months, and their support in my decision to leave the station.”

Kern is back on the air, but it is a thousand miles south of Buffalo.

She is now working for the struggling Fox O&O in Orlando.

Kern is an Anchor/Reporter at WOFL in O-Town. But she still talks about Buffalo and her time there in her WOFL bio.
