CNN did a heart-wrenching story about a single mom of 3 kids that is being evicted from her apartment.

CNN Reporter Nick Watt’s story helped bring over $200,00 bucks to a GoFundMe page setup to help out Dasha Kelly and her kids living in Las Vegas.

CNN didn’t do just one story on the mom of 3 young kids, but they did a second story as well.

There was just one little problem.

Kelly doesn’t have 3 kids, she was just their babysitter and somehow, despite doing two stories on her, CNN took a while to figure that out.

The network released a statement:

As one CNN staffer once said, “If you can’t get the little stuff right, how can you be trusted with the big stuff?”
