FTVLive has shown you stations that send Reporters out to the station’s parking lot to go live.

Well, Nexstar’s WPRI sent Reporter Rob Nesbitt out in front of the station, despite the fact that it was raining.

While Nesbitt can parade outside seconds before his live shot and stand under an umbrella, sadly that is not the case for the poor person that had to setup the camera for this needless live hit.

I know TV consultants tell you that you must go live for the sake of going live, but having your Reporter standing in the rain, just steps from the newsroom makes you look foolish.

Just saying….
