Back in March, FTVLive told you that KCPQ (Seattle) News Director Erik Breon was on leave from the station and likely was not coming back.

The staff was told by KCPQ General Manager Pam Pearson that Breon was out and that Assistant News Director Sean Kennedy was now heading up the newsroom. "Sean will be your go-to for all things news-related," Pearson said on the call to the staff.

Since then, Perason was replaced while she was on vacation, and Kennedy was also exited from the station.

As for Breon, he posted on social media that he is no longer with the station. He claimed that it was due to some health issues.

A number of people were surprised by the post, saying they had no idea that he was going through any health-related problems.

Another staffer at the Fox O&O was a bit more succinct with their reaction to his post, “WHAT A CROCK OF BS!!!” the staffer said in an email to FTVLive.

While some are questioning the post by KCPQ’s former News Director, a number of station insiders say the fact is the place is a mess.

The Fox O&O is moving forward by hiring new management and trying to get the station back on firm footing.
