KIRO Assistant News Director Lisa Blegen is getting a News Director job, but not at KIRO.

Word is that Blegen is staying in the Cox food chain, but moving 3000 miles to do so. Blegen will be the next News Director at WJAX/WFOX in Jacksonville, Florida.

Blegen has been at KIRO for over 6 1/2 years. She came to coffee town after working at WFTV in Orlando. She is now returning to the Sunshine State.

She will replace Pascale Head who resigned from the station back in May.
