Nexstar said that they were doing it with their national newscast called News Nation.

The company said they were launching an unbiased news operation. But, many think that Nexstar failed and the hiring of former Fox News head Bill Shine was proof of that.

Now, Billionaire businessman and philanthropist Joe Ricketts is this/close to launching a digital news startup called Straight Arrow News and its claim is there is no bias in their coverage.

“I think there’s a gap in the market — there’s no source for unbiased, fact-based news. And I believe there’s a business opportunity there,” Ricketts said.

“Some people say you can’t have unbiased news. I want to prove them wrong with Straight Arrow News,” he said.

They also have a promo that will let the consumer decide if they are living up to that promise.
