Back in April, Meredith’s KPHO/KTVK in Phoenix turned Kim Powell into a Weather Anchor.

Powell is not a Meteorologist and admits that she has no clue how thunderstorms form and yet, there was Meredith having her deliver the forecast in the 11th TV market.

Well, Meredith has finally gotten around to hiring a real Meteorologist.

Lauren Rainson has joined the weather staff and Powell will go back to her role as a Reporter.
