South Florida news crews have been going wall to wall with coverage of the collapse of an apartment building along the South Florida coast.

FTVLive watched coverage from all the Miami stations and WSVN’s coverage appeared to be the best of the bunch.

All the stations are doing solid work, but some of the younger Reporters appear to have that deer in the headlight look about them.

This is a story that will be covered for months and it is the Journalists’ job to figure out how this happened and to shed enough light on the story that it doesn’t happen again.

This graphic from USA Today is a good reference as to how much of this building fell.

We are happy to report that, so far we have not come across a Reporter selfie from the scene of the collapse.

Let’s hope it stays that way.
