Back in March, FTVLive FIRST broke the news that KCPQ (Seattle) News Director Erik Breon was on administrative leave from the station.

“I’m not going to put out an email on that, so that needs to be shared with your team,” GM Pam Pearson said on a conference call, adding, “you can let your own individual teams know that Erik is out.”

Many inside the KCPQ newsroom figured that Breon was gone and would not be returning to the station.

Here we are in mid-May and if you check the job openings at the KCPQ website, you find 5 newsroom jobs posted.

But, one job that is not posted is the News Director job.

Does that mean that Erik Breon is returning to KCPQ?
