It was 6 months ago that CNN’s Jeffery Toobin was seen masturbating on a staff Zoom call for the New Yorker magazine.

Toobin was quickly fired from the New Yorker, but CNN said that they were giving Toobin “some time off while he deals with a personal issue.”

Giving someone 6 months off to masturbate surely seems a bit excessive, but then again we are talking about CNN here.

The network has not commented on Toobin’s status at the network, but most feel that he will likely return to the CNN air at some point in time.

Back in January, Toobin posted of his impending return to the airwaves. "Many thanks. I'll be back," he wrote in a tweet that was later deleted.
