Police in Mississippi were able to catch a suspected bank robber and for some reason they posted a picture smiling and gathering around the suspect like he was some sort of big game that they captured.

The white police officers and their dogs smiled for the camera as they held onto the suspect.

Gray’s WLBT (Jackson, Mississippi) jumped in on the “fun” by posting the picture to their social media.

Instead of questioning the photo and the officers smiling and posing with the suspect, WLBT appeared to play along.

It wasn’t until a number of people called the station out for the post that WLBT deleted the post.

Hopefully Gray will look into how this could happen and maybe start having the staff at WLBT ask the police about the photo instead of playing along.
