As the heat continues to rise on the Cuomo brothers, CNN host Chris Cuomo went on the air to apologize for putting the people that work at CNN in a bad spot.

Chris Cuomo made his apology only after the Washington Post came out with a story that said that Chris took part in strategy calls with his brother NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo and his staff.

Cuomo admits that he has given his brother advice and that he has never tried to influence the coverage of his brother at CNN.

Of course, he didn’t need to influence the network’s coverage, because Chris brought Andrew on the air several times during the height of the pandemic to joke around with him and fawn over his work.

As the heat intensifies, Chris Cuomo went on the air and tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube.
