KRGV (Rio Grande Vally, TX) has deleted a story from their website after some questions were raised.

In a Google search you see that KRGV did a story that had a Border Patrol official talking about the tactics used by human smugglers.

But, if you click on the link, you see the story is gone and it leads to a dead page. Here is a screenshot from the story that aired on KRGV.

In the KRGV story, you can see that they blacked out the agent’s eyes.

But, check out this screenshot from a story that was done by KUSI back in 2019.

It appears to be the same woman, standing in front of the same spot, just zoomed in a bit to maybe cut off the KUSI logo.

The KUSI story from 2019 was done by Reporter Tony Bernhardt, Jr.

The KRGV story done 6 days ago was by Reporter Tony Velasquez Jr.

If they look the same, that’s because they are the same person.

Station sources say that Bernhardt/Velasquez lifted the content from his old station and there was no mention of it being an old interview.

When the station found out about it, they deleted the story from its website with no explanation. It appears the station also deleted the online bio of Tony Velasquez Jr. from its website as well.
