WMAQ (Chicago) Anchor Stefan Holt tossed to Reporter Chris Coffey, who had a story on the easing of the mask mandates.

During Coffey's live intro, a man jumped behind him and yelled some unflattering words about President Joe Biden. the current president. Coffey apologized and continued as this is not likely the first time some idiot interrupted his live shot.

After the package, Coffey did his live outro and tossed it back to the studio, where Anchor Allison Rosati said “Chris I’m glad you’re OK and hopefully whoever that was will apologize for what he did.”

A guy yelled behind him, yes, I’m sure that Coffey was able to handle that and is OK. Also, you know that idiot is not going to apologize.

It seems like a weird thing for an Anchor to say, especially since this comment was made after a package aired and not directly after the guy interrupted the live shot.
