Word is that WXMI (Grand Rapids) News Director Brooks Blanton is leaving the station after 7+ years.

We hear that starting next month, Blanton will be the new News Director at WCCB in Charlotte.

Before going to Grand Rapids, Blanton worked as a Producer at Fox News.
