Back on April 6th, FTVLive posted showing that Nexstar’s News Nation had seemed to be packing it on their Twitter account.

The last post to the @NewsNation Twitter account was made back in March.

We didn’t think much about it until we got this DM yesterday.

It seems that someone was able to procure the @NewsNation Twitter handle and they DM’d us, surprised that they were able to pick it up.

The person running the old Nexstar account makes sure to point out that they are not affiliated with Nexstar’s cable news channel and they also made sure that they are following @FTVLive on the platform.

I don’t know who the person is, but I get the feeling that Nexstar might not be happy that they abandoned the @NewsNation handle.

Just saying….
