While covering the victory parade for the Baylor basketball team, KWTX (Waco) interviewed the General Manager for a local car dealership that was giving the team’s coach a new jeep, wrapped with a championship banner.

The car dealer said that the coach could use the jeep for recruiting and could “pull some people out of the hood,”

The racist comment went unchecked by the Reporter conducting the interview. After the toss back, KWTX went straight to weather and none of the Anchors back at the station addressed the racist comment on air.

The station and its talent dropped the ball and this vile comment should have been addressed before the end of the newscast.

To Baylor’s credit, they turned down the offer of the car, due to the dealer’s comment.
