The Los Angels Police Department posted a “training” video for the media.

The LAPD is taking the position that unlawful assemblies and dispersal orders apply to Journalists and that members of the media will be arrested if they don’t comply.

They also say journalists must ask police for the “designated media staging area.”

The fact that the police want the media to remain in a “staging area” that they determine would give the police control over how the incident is covered.

Many Journalists felt that this was not an acceptable for members of the press trying to cover such incidents. Also, the threat of arresting Journalists for doing their job, crosses well over the line.

After the LAPD posted the video, they later delated the video without explanation over the weekend.

But, one person was able to download the video and repost it on YouTube.
