WOI Morning Anchor Elias Johnson appears to be done at the Tegna station.

In a social media post, Johnson says that his “current contract was going to end earlier than expected.”

He claims he was offered a new deal, but he and the station could not come to terms on that deal and are parting ways.

If you read between the lines, it seems as if the Tegna station wanted to tear up his current contract and give him a new one that paid him less money.

Either way, he is now looking for a new job.
