Many of us have spent the past year trying to stay safe when it comes to the coronavirus.

We have stopped traveling, stopped going out and have stopped seeing our friends. It has been a long year and with the vaccine being given to more and more people, we finally have some light at the end of the tunnel.

But, we are not yet there and people need to continue to practice the CDC guidelines when it comes to COVID. or

As Journalists, you need to continue to report on what is happening and inform the viewers that this is not yet over.

Watching CDC Director Rochelle Walensky get emotional yesterday about her fear of another wave, really shows that your job on informing viewers is not yet down.

Many people here in Florida and I’m guessing in your states as well are acting like the pandemic is over. It’s not. It’s getting closer to being over, but we’re not there yet.

Continue to inform and please, continue to set a good example.
