Each year, KARE (Minneapolis) Anchor Dave Schwartz puts the ties he wears on the newscasts up for sale.

He’s not just trying to clear out his closet, he’s doing it for a good cause. April is Parkinson's Disease Awareness month and Schwartz is a member of the Parkinson's Foundation Executive Board.

Schwartz sells his ties to raise money for the foundation.

Schwartz and his family have been personally affected by Parkinson's and in honor of his grandmother, Sylvia, Dave wears and then sells his ties to try and raise awareness for Parkinson's.
