The folks at Fox News got their panties in a bunch because Vice President Kamala Harris boarded Air-Force 2 without saluting the honor guards standing by the aircraft.

It is here that we should point out that Harris followed the military protocol on saluting. Harris is a civilian and not the Commander-in-Chief and as a civilian, she should not offer a salute. The military salute is considered a privilege earned by those who have served in the Armed Forces and is reserved for official protocols.

According to military protocol, Harris acted exactly as she should, but since she is a Democrat and a woman, of course Fox News had a problem with this.

And no, fighting the War of Christmas does not make you a member of the military.
