KNXV (Phoenix) News Director Mark Casey is leaving the Scripps station.

Casey says, “it is completely my decision, and one made with tremendous respect for Scripps and my supervisor and colleague of many years, Anita Helt.”

He added, “I’ve been in broadcast journalism since 1974 and a news director since 1991. It’s an exhausting, exhilarating, and fulfilling profession.”
