Meredith’s KPHO/KTVK (Phoenix) had an internal power outage that knocked the stations off the air.

That sent the anchors to Facebook to do Lives on why they are not on the air.

I always wondered if viewers tuned into a station, didn’t see any single if they then think, “I should go on Facebook now.”?

I know that back when I watched TV, if one channel was dark, I just kept clicking the remote. I never once thought about going on Facebook.

Maybe, I’m in the minority on this.
