Subject: Retirement AnnouncementHi everyone,
I’m sharing the news today that I will be retiring from WNEP on April 30. It’s hard for me to believe that almost 40 years ago, on the first Monday in August, I was walking into WNEP thrilled about my new job. Never did I imagine that 40 years later I would be retiring from the same company, and still thrilled about my job.
I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside the best in the business, witness the amazing evolution of our industry and grow our WNEP culture. WNEP thrives on serving our audience and clients with best-in-class storytelling and sales support, we do so with integrity, and in our actions, we always strive to do what is right. Summed up, it’s known as the WNEP WAY.
It’s been a wonderful and rewarding journey. WNEP has changed ownership four times during my career, each time better than before for employees and our community.
I’ve truly enjoyed working with you and the many others in the past. So often I’ve been asked, “What’s the secret sauce at WNEP?” and the answer is simple: our wonderful colleagues.
Thank you, everyone, for helping make WNEP the great station it is!
Chuck Morgan
