Word is that Vicki Burns is leaving WPIX in New York.

Burns is said to be leaving the Nexstar station before the end of the month.

Burns spent more than two decades at KNBC in Los Angels and joined WPIX as a consultant back in 2013 when the station was owned by Tribune. She was named the News Director on WPIX back in March of 2019.

WPIX was bought by Nexstar, handed off to Scripps for a bit and now Nexstar has it once again.

No word yet on a replacement.
