CNN President Jeff Zucker sent a long memo to the staff announcing his plans to have the staff return back to the studios.

Zucker said the goal is for employees that work at CNN Atlanta to start coming back to work on August 1. For employees at CNN in New York City and other bureaus, the goal is September 1st.

Zucker said that employees will return in waves and not all at once.

CNN is not requiring its staff to get the COVID vaccine, but Zucker is strongly encouraging it.
