Last week, FTVLive told you that Gray’s WNDU (South Bend) had parted ways with Weather Anchor Kimberly Newman.

Newman replaced David Harker, who also just disappeared from the station.

It seems that the station is not very upfront with the viewers (and the staff) as people leave. One viewer sent this email to FTVLive and it might be something that all people in TV management should read:

I always enjoyed watching Kimberly Newman along with Tricia and Josh in the morning! They worked great together and seemed to always have a good time! Her forecasts were easy to understand and she always seemed to enjoy her work! I don’t like it when the management at WNDU just all of a sudden gets rid of the forecasters and there’s no notice. Why not just make a statement saying “so and so” won’t be with us anymore and wish them luck? It’s unfair to all of us at home who get attached to the personnel on the station and enjoy seeing them in the morning. Same thing happened with David Harker! It’s a shame.
