Last week, Fox O&O WTTG suspended Anchor Blake McCoy after his “fat-shaming” Twitter post in which he later deleted and then kind of/ sort of apologized for.

The station has not said much about McCoy’s future, but a number of people at the station say that would not be surprising if he didn’t come back.

“I don’t think Blake is happy at the station and a number of people here are not fans of his,” said one WTTG insider.

Word is that McCoy has been accused of inappropriate behavior in statements he has made to his co-workers. “Management has warned him, but he doesn’t seem to change,” one WTTG staffer said to FTVLive.

McCoy was recently bumped up to a much bigger role at the station and you have to wonder if station management wants to make a change so early after the last change?

But station insiders that FTVLive has talked to think that is a change that needs to be made.

“It seems clear that he (McCoy) is not happy here and many would love to see him leave,” said a staffer.
