Longtime San Antonio Anchor Randy Beamer says that this will be his last rating book.

Beamer anchors the news at Sinclair’s WOAI and says that next Friday is his last day at the station.

He posted the news to his social media, although he said he was trying to keep it on the down-low.

“After 30 years, Randy’s credentials and achievements are numerous as are his fans! I’ve had the pleasure of working with Randy for a significant portion of his career and I’ll forever be grateful to him for being such a terrific ambassador for News 4 and Sinclair San Antonio. All the best to Randy and his family!” said station General Manager Dean Radla.
